About the Lab
The Li lab uses the latest gene editing technology (including CRISPR-Cas9 and CRISPR-Cas9 screening) and new computational algorithms to better understand how coding and non-coding elements function in human physiology and disease, and to further identify novel molecular targets to inform precision medicine. We are particularly interested in applying new computer science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning methods to address challenges in biomedical and biological big data problems.
