Research, Education & Innovation Week

Each year, Children’s National Research Institute hosts Research, Education & Innovation Week to showcase the wide array of research and education programs occurring throughout the institution.

REI Week is a week-long celebration which includes over 400 poster presentations, guest lectures, educational workshops and panel discussions. It is a cornerstone event showcasing the exceptional research, education, and innovation efforts at Children's National and across the broader academic and clinical communities. It serves as an inspiring platform to share knowledge, foster collaboration, and highlight groundbreaking work in pediatric healthcare.

REI Week began in 2000 as a Research Day in order to showcase the breadth of translational, clinical, and community research and educational projects performed in our hospital. The inaugural Research Day hosted approximately 100 research projects

The 15th annual REI Week will be held March 31-April 4, 2025, celebrating 15 years of scholarly achievements of our faculty, staff and trainees, underscoring our dedication to advancing pediatric healthcare through cutting-edge innovation, equitable practices, and a worldwide perspective.
