The majority of Chunchao Zhang, Ph.D.'s research is dedicated to interpreting and integrating various high throughput omics datasets, including genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics. The aim is to comprehend the mechanism of action of immunotherapy, identify biomarkers, and pinpoint actionable drug targets in pediatric cancers. The current research is focused on:
- Cancer Immunotherapy and Translational Medicine: Discovering biomarkers and mining therapeutic targets for immunotherapies through the development and analysis of multi-omics experiments at single-cell resolution.
- Personalized Medicine: Creating bioinformatics algorithms to streamline neoantigen discovery via high throughput proteogenomics.
- Spatial Proteogenomics: Developing computational tools to support spatial proteogenomics at the cellular resolution.
