About Us
The objective of this office is to facilitate the process of moving projects from initial proposal through contract execution for all clinical trials. This includes review and execution of confidentiality disclosure agreements, cost and feasibility analysis, budget development and contract execution. In addition, this office also provides financial oversight and invoicing for clinical trials.
Major Functions & Responsibilities
The major functions and responsibilities of Mehzabin Khan, the Program Lead in the Clinical Trials Office, are:
- Administers and provides oversight of Clinical Trials Office
- Oversees compliance in Clinical Research Billing, Financial Patient Care Audits, reconciliations and Sponsor invoicing
- Education and training for research staff
- Develops processes, workflows, job aids and policies
- Oversees PowerTrials and CTMS
The major functions and responsibilities of the Clinical Trials Revenue Cycle Coordinator are:
- Patient Care Claims processing and journal entry
- Quarterly reconciliations of Ancillary Department chargebacks
- Performs scheduled patient care audits and reconciliations
- Invoicing Sponsors on a quarterly basis
- PowerTrials protocol build and maintenance
- Health plan maintenance
The major functions and responsibilities of the Clinical Trials Management System Administrator are:
- CTMS pre and post implementation maintenance
- Study calendar build
The major functions and responsibilities of Angie Berry, the Clinical Trials Financial Administrator, are:
- CTA negotiation and execution
- Medicare Coverage Analysis in partnership with Revenue Cycle Management
