Pediatric Pandemic Network Laboratory
About the Lab
The Pediatric Pandemic Network focuses on addressing the gaps in disaster preparedness and response efforts that often fail to meet the unique needs of children. Established in 2021, the network began with lead hub sites at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital and Children’s National Hospital. It has since expanded to encompass thirteen sites. These sites aim to strengthen healthcare systems and communities in delivering high-quality, equitable care to children both routinely and during crises.
