Emily Carlson, PhD, holds a doctorate degree in clinical psychology and completed advanced postdoctoral training in pediatric neuropsychology. She is a pediatric neuropsychologist in the Division of Neuropsychology at Children’s National Hospital and an assistant professor of psychiatry & behavioral medicine and pediatrics at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Services. Her research is focused on cognitive outcomes among hematology/oncology patients, including neurofibromatosis type 1, pediatric brain tumor and sickle cell disease.
