  • Kristen Johnson, MD, MSc, is a hospitalist at Children's National Hospital and assistant professor of pediatrics at the George Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Johnson's research interests include diagnostic and statistical reasoning, patient-doctor communication and social determinants of health. Her current research projects include investigating how structures of clinical documentation impact diagnostic reasoning among medical trainees. In addition, she is exploring how demographic, clinical, and community factors influence outcomes after pediatric opioid overdose.
