Bo Ning, PhD, is a researcher specializing in the design, translation and commercialization of innovative biomedical imaging technologies for high-resolution, multi-parametric and multi-modal in vivo and intraoperative imaging. Dr. Bo Ning developed a pioneering multi-parametric photoacoustic imaging device capable of simultaneously imaging microvascular anatomy, oxygen saturation and blood flow at capillary resolution in vivo. Dr. Bo Ning also invented a novel label-free, real-time intraoperative nerve imaging technology, advancing surgical guidance and precision. Current research focuses on the development and clinical translation of advanced imaging modalities, including laser speckle contrast, fluorescence, polarimetric and 3D imaging, with the goal of improving disease diagnosis, surgical decision-making and patient outcomes.
